  • STORYBOARDING

    With the script completed, we’ll prepare a full set of story boards, along with revisions based on your feedback, to ensure creative alignment in our visions before we start shooting anything.

  • LOCATION SCOUTING

    We’ll scope out the best locations to film your video production ahead of time to ensure there are no surprises the day of shooting. Establishing lighting sources, shooting angles and unique perspectives is all part of making your video unique and memorable.

  • CASTING & TALENT COORDINATION

    Finding the right people to tell your story is essential. We handle all aspects of getting your production cast from sourcing actors and organizing casting calls, to talent coordination the day of shooting.

  • LOCATION PERMITS & INSURANCE

    Our team will handle applying and securing any necessary location permits to ensure adherence to local by-laws. We also carry the necessary insurance to cover you and your production.

Our Pre-Production Process

  • 1. Project Discovery

    At our initial creative meeting we’ll discuss and collaborate on your project plans, objectives, target audience and deliverables. Based on those discussions, we’ll then do a deep dive on your company, and your competitors to ensure we deliver unique, impactful and engaging creative that sets you apart from the pack.

  • 2. Scope of Work and Budget

    We believe our clients should know where their money is going, so before we start on creative, we’ll provide you a full scope of work and a budget so we can align on costs and outline all deliverables for full cost transparency.

  • 3. Creative Concept Development

    No matter what story you want to tell, our experienced team will develop and present several strategic creative concepts to achieve your project goals. After you review and provide feedback we solidify the team’s vision and set about turning that vision into reality.

  • 4. Creative Treatment & Mood Board

    Once we have a creative direction nailed down, we’ll start working on how your video is going to look and feel. Working together with our team of cinematographers and directors we create a unique style for your video production that sets it apart from the competition.

  • 5. Scripting & Storyboarding

    Based on the approved creative concept, we'll prepare a proposed script and storyboards for your approval, with 2-3 rounds of revisions to ensure you love the direction as much as we do. Need to interview subjects? We’ve got you covered, conducting pre-interview research and meetings with your subjects to get the most out of their interviews.

  • 5. Pre-Production Logistics

    Our pre-production process includes managing the multitude of tasks needed to get your video production ready to shoot. We will coordinate all logistics from hiring crews and location scouting to casting, talent selection, securing permits and insurance. Prior to filming we’ll conduct a pre-production meeting where we’ll walk you through the shoot schedule.
